I have never seen this to be an issue and it always works as it should at the office, home and in the field.
However there are many that pick up some HP, change the motherboard and run into this issue since their license doesn't extend to that change.
Genuine OS process hit me again. I'm just wondering just what makes it so picky. If I change/replace the mtrbd., video or cpu it wants to be reactivated. This gets to be a task in itself. Since, I do this for my system and many others(repair) I wonder what if any level or amount of changes will it allow. I could never get a clear answer and MS seems too wordy on the topic. Oh yeah, these are genuine MS CDs. Just a small vent. -----Willy
