XML question

I sent my itunes library to a flash drive so that if my computer ever broke and I lost my itouch I might be able to install on another computer, well....I don't have the computer and itouch anymore (long boring story) but I do have this flash drive, so I plug it into PC and try to view files but it is this XML PC language and I don't know how to get my media back! Oh, and I already used my once in a lifetime "re-download" from itunes, I have about $1500 invested in music and video, my media means the world to me, please tell me I am not screwed...

Where are you music and video files?

A Library is just a list. It is not the music and video files themselves.

So, where are those files

If you cannot import that XML file into your new iTunes, it's no catastrophic loss. You can just re-create the library.
