XM Satellite reports a bigger quarterly loss

I think satellite radio is going to have to start selling adspace on top of charging subscriber fees. And other opinions?

I've never been interested in satellite radio ..

I've just never seen the need to pay a monthly service just to listen to music in my car. And what was touted in the beginning as "commercial-free" radio, the few times I listened in a store, I sure heard commercials (granted, they were for the satellite radio service, and not from other companies). Personally, I hope it fails miserably.

separate equipment = turn off

I never liked the idea of having to buy new equipment just to be able to use satellite radio, in addition to the subscription fee.

Especially now that I have an iTrip to go with my nano.
