Activation issues

Are you, your carrier and your phone's maker to sort out.

Frankly this is likely why I see no phones of this make around here. The maker has to do a lot better to get sales here.

I think this is related to Xiaomi Message service, that needs SIM activation to work.
The problem is not all carriers can make this work.

That's bad news.

May explain why I don't see that brand in the circles I run.

From the web I'm reading "You can set Mi Message service is Worked only on WIFI or Mobile Data." so why not get to a good WiFi spot and try again?

PS. I put the note from the web in quoted due to it's poor grammar. Not my words but useful as the service appears to work over WiFi.
