Xfilter.exe is a process associated with Filseclab Personal Firewall from Filseclab. It appears like it has a problem. Have you visited the Filseclab website to see if they have answers? Have you tried uninstalling, then reinstalling? Maybe shutting down other programs that might be conflicting with the firewall?

Hope this helps.

Narrow Down The Culprit...

It may be another program that's running in the background or it may be the firewall itself. Something's causing a conflict. Some programs just don't work well with some computers and you'll need to find the other conflicting program..

So click on Start-Run, type "msconfig", click on OK, then click on the "Startup" tab. When that loads, start unchecking listings, one at a time, then restart the computer each time and test it.. Leave the antivirus till last. If all the listings are unchecked and the error still occurs, then you might want to consider getting a different firewall.

Hope this helps.
