For a Xerox Doc Centre 460 we have a Windows printer queue defined to print to a tray with yellow card stock paper. Some the documents I send to that printer(queue) come out on card stock (the correct tray) some other documents come out on plain paper (wrong tray). It is as if the printer decides that certain documents need to printed from a different tray. I have examined the .prn files and the first 16 lines containing the PCL are IDENTICAL except for the job name. The properties of the print jobs (right click on the print job in the print queue) are IDENTICAL except for the job name.
The files are two different tif images being sent through windows printing.
Any clue what would make a Xerox Doc Centre 460 printer decide to select a different tray (paperweight) based on the printed matter?
Any thoughts are much appreciated.
