XD card for Fuji 2650

May 2, 2006 1:23AM PDT

Hi,
I have a fuji 2650 that I bought several years ago. I'm looking fo ra new XD picture card for it.
The manual indicates a max of 128Mb; could be this was just the max available at the time it was printed.

Can I use a 512 or 1Gb card in this camera? Meaning, can the camera handle it?
Does anybody know if there is any appreciable difference between Olympus, Fuji, and Sandisk models?

Many thanks,
Steve

XD cards

The camera makers almost never specify the maximum memory card capacity of their cameras.

I don't know of any source for this type of data, other than Fujifilm. You should ask them.

As far as brand name:

All XD memory cards are built to the same specifications.

Olympus and Fujifilm jointly created the XD card.
SanDisk has joined those two in developing faster versions of the card.

Any of the three cards will be a good choice.
