xbox360 sound but no video

I was playing last night for only like 20 min. then this morning i went to play, but there was no picture, just a black screen with white lines running through the screen. I tried different video inputs but nothing changed. it isn't the tv so is my xbox360 screwed? its ok, i have a 2 yr repair replacement plan at best buy still, hopefully i can keep my hard drive
