Xbox Live Problems

Feb 16, 2005 5:20AM PST

When I arranged a wireless connection from my downstairs router to my upstairs adapter, which was connected to my Xbox, xbox live worked for about 5 minutes and then shut down. When I started the troubleshooter it told me I needed to verify my IP address. Once I fixed the problem, I was able to access live for about 5 minutes once again and like before, it shut me down. Does anyone know what may be responsible for this?

to make sure your xbox live account is set up under your defult network connection? Make sure whatever your PC router is networked to is matched with your Xbox live account network

I found the problem

It was due to DHCP, so now everytime I wish to access Live on my Xbox, I have to unplug and plug back in the adapter so that it will update itself
