I might tell your ISP you no longer need the extra IPs and buy a router.
http://www.xbox.com/en-us/live/connect/router.htm,
shows how to set up an Xbox thru a router saving you the costs of all those IPs.
Hey everybody. I have a simple question to ask.
I live in an apartment with 3 other roomates. Our ISP gave us a cable modem and assigned us each with an IP address, with the option to buy another at 5 dollars more per month.
It I were to hook my Xbox up to this, would I need to buy an additional IP address for the small amount of online gaming I plan to do? Or should I just unplug the cable whenever I wanted to connect?
Any ideas? Thanks.
