Ok, I have been reading about this for awhile but have not got a very straightforward answer. I just converted a old Xbox controller to my new USB gamepad to use with some games. I am plugging it into a USB 2.0 . I am running Microsoft XP Professional,Version 2002, Service Pack 2. I have Intel Celeron CPU 2.93 GHz and 504 mb RAM.I have installed the drivers needed to use the controller but when I plug it in I get a notice bubble."Power Surge on Hub Port : A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message." I click it and it says I should unplug and click reset. Is this a problem with the USB port? The controller? The OS? What should I do to solve this?
