Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable vs Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable

Jul 15, 2009 3:40AM PDT

Hi guyz, just bought LG M227WA which is a 21.5" TV Monitor, its features are:-
Size:- 21.5"
Full HD
Dot Pitch (mm) 0.248
Response Time (ms) 5
Contrast Ratio 30000:1
Scanning Frequency Horizontal (Khz) 30-83
Scanning Frequency Vertical (Hz) 56-75
Maximum Display Resolution (dpi) 1920x1080
Inputs:-
S-Video-1
HDMI -2
Component-1
Composite-1
PC Input- D-Sub and DVI-D

Questions:-

I have an Xbox 360 core console which comes with composite wire.

1.My question is, because there is no HDMI slot on my Xbox which cable gives me the better picture quality, VGA HD AV Cable or Component HD AV Cable.

2.And is it going to make a huge difference for such a small display of 21.5 inches.

I'd go component.

Why? It's more likely you will have less setup issues and not having to bother with the other audio cable. It's also more likely to connect to that next set (for the time being.)

Doesnt my video quality improve when i change from composite to component, even though my display is small.

I did buy the component cable and believe me there is a lot of difference, Component cable is far better than the composite cable. Its Excellent.
