xbox 360, ps3 and wii prices in Brazil! (you will laugh)

$1.000 = R$2.166 (real = brazilian currency)

Xbox 360 = R$2,999
Price in us dollars: $1,384.58

Nintendo Wii = RS2,399
Price in us dollars: $1,107.58

Playstation 3 = R$7,980
Price in us dollars: $3,684.21

it is more expensive to go to my corner and buy a PS3, than to go to California, buy beer, coca cola and pizza for all the BOL crew and fans in there, buy a PS3 and then come back to Brazil...

And what are you laws on imports and internet sales? And it is possible to drive to Brazil from the US, right? That panama canal thing has a bridge, yes? Now just to figure out how many 360s I can fit in my Toyota. Happy

Seriously, those prices are silly. Is there anything preventing you from buying them online?

I was going to say it only costs like

good idea!

In reply to: Delivery

i could do so, if i have a document showing the price i have paid and where i have bought...
but i guess it would be still limited to $500.00...

people in brazil looking for cheap electronic gadgets go to paraguay... i guess they don't have any tax in there, and people don't need a passport to go in there... so you can just cross the frontier, buy stuff, and then come back... with that us$500.00 limit!

people can go from and to foz do igua

i think it is possible

In reply to: Hmmmm....

but it would take forever! and it would be contraband, anyway...

you can only enter brazil with US$500.00, if all the products you have bought exceeds this limit, you might have to pay some extra taxes...

Total U$S 2.533
the cost to go from rio de janeiro to san francisco, and then come back to rio de janeiro...

US$ 500 = the ps3 under the tax free limit

i would still have 500 dollars to buy pizza, beer and coke for everyone...
hey! i could also buy two wiis!
i guess no one is getting free pizza anymore...
