xbox 360 newbie online question

I bought 360 for my son (and myself) for xmas. Xbox is in living room, pc is in den connected to wired cable modem from Time Warner.What's the easiest and cheapest way to get 360 online also?? I have NO router or anything yet...Please help Rob

You need high speed internet access to use Xbox Live. If you have High Speed, you should have a router.

If you have a wired router, the best thing to do would be to buy some eithernet wire and run the wire to your 360. If you have a wireless router, you can buy the wireless network adapter for the 360.

yea I chose to buy the wireless adapter for the 360 its the best option for you in your situation but its gonna cost you about $99 its definately worth it though. Or if you want to save money you can use a long ethernet cable and just buy a router for about $50 Im not sure where they sell extra long ethernet cables but I know you can find one somewhere at a electronics store, youll also need to buy a router as well.
