Your tv does not not have HDMI port so you do not need that.
Component cable is what you want to hook it up with. I read on Engadget.com that model is only coming with only composite cable (yellow), I think that will end up being wrong info, for $400 it should come with some HD cable since it an Elite model too. If you still kept the parts of the other 360 just use that cable, it just will not match the color.
I am purchasing the new Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition xBox 360 because my xBox has just gotten the RROD. Since it's not coming out till November, there are a few things for me to thing about. (While reading this, please keep in mind I'm 16. Please be nice. I'm a sensitive teenager :D)
I'm almost positive that this is the TV that I play on: Toshiba 34HDX82 (http://reviews.cnet.com/direct-view-tvs-crt/toshiba-34hdx82/4507-6481_7-20714433.html?tag=mncol;psum)
Now, assuming I have the right TV, the TV I play on has 1080i output. Now, i don't have it hooked up to surround sound, and it probably won't ever get it.
So, I'm not sure what kind of HD cable to buy, or if i need to buy one at all. I have a basic understanding of what HDMI and HD AV are, but I'm still not totally sure. If someone could explain what I need to buy in order to get the best possible quality. And, I'm not totally sure about the xBox's capabilities are, so if someone could explain this, and how it relates to cables and such, that would be awesome.
I'd really appreciate some help on this please. Thanks!
