Xbox 360 Elite

There's a possibility they'll drop the core system if the elite model sells well enough, but it seems unlikely they're going to be dropping the price on the other models any time soon.

The sales of the 360 are still pretty good all in all, and with the PS3 largely sitting on store shelves the world over, there's little pressure to drop the price. Nintendo is targeting a completely different demographic with the Wii, so it's runaway success isn't much of a concern for Microsoft. They're going to milk those high prices for as long as they possibly can.

Some industry analysts predict Sony will drop the PS3's price by $100 in Q4 though so we might see a cheaper 360 on it's second anniversary.
