xbox 360 computer monitor

Hi i have an acer monitor with a dvi and vga port. if i plug my 360 into the vga and my computer into the dvi would that cause any problems for the screen

not that i know of but it has an auto configuration button

I'm currently running the same setup and so far I have had no problems. I can easily switch between VGA and DVI with the menu on the monitor and no problems have come up because of it.
