Does the Xbox 360 require any upconverting to give you a high-def picture? Can I just plug an RGB cable into my big-screen and get that high-def picture? (Same question for the PS3)

I know I need the cable but do I need a HD upconverter box to get the High Definition signal?
All you need is an HDTV with an HD component video input. The 360 does the rest.
Yep, plug in and if you TV supports it, it will be HD (720) and if you set it to 1080 it will stretch it for ya.
As for PS3, who knows. probably will. maybe it will do full 1080 ![]()
