XBOX 360 and Component Video Problem

by shaynemitchell / May 5, 2006 1:26 AM PDT

I have a fairly low end Daewoo TV. However it does have component video inputs which leads me to beleive that I should be able to get a sharper image from my Xbox 360. I purchased the component cables (Mad Katz brand, not official XBOX) and connected to the CVI on the back of the TV. When I turn on the system, I get an image, but it is two identical images in a sort of side by side split screen. The XBOX console is set to 480p and normal screen. Has anyone seen this before?

I've got a Samsung TV that has component inputs and works fine with DVD progressive scan, and I too have the Xbox 360 set for 480p, but see a side by side image, any help out there?

Cable

I had the same problem but mine was because there is a switch on the cable(real XBOX) that switches it from SD to HD. look on the part that connects to the XBOX.

Also make sure your TV can take in 480p.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
