x460 laptop display problems

I have the Samsung NP-X460 laptop that i purchased new about 18 months ago...in the last two weeks it has started to get horizontal lines on the right side of the display, and is now starting to get similar lines on the left side also....has anyone had a problem with the display on these laptops and if so, has anyone had any experience dealing with Samsung about it???
