X-Rays and digital cameras

Will be flying for the first time since having a digital camera. Are there any concerns with x-raying the camera? Will they hand inspect the camera bag the way they used to with my 35mm?

Depends on the country.

In the US, the levels are so low that its a non-issue. In the outer edges of the world where some old unit is, there was an issue.

More reading there. But a friend of mine did some repair work on a scanner in a foriegn land and ... it was overdosing by more than 10X.
