X-Men?

by Evie / October 20, 2006 9:39 AM PDT

I'm relatively clueless when it comes to most Sci Fi. I enjoy some of it well enough, but usually this is when my husband suggests watching something he knows about and enjoys. Since this is an intended gift, asking him kinda defeats the purpose Wink

What's the SE scoop on the X-Men movies? I would like to buy the Trilogy and recall hearing good things.

TIA, Evie Happy

Saw all three at the theater, and bought the DVD's.

Haven't watched the last one yet, got it just before went away a week and still getting back into routine after coming home.

Third movie DVD has alternate endings, but no idea how they handle that until I see it.

X-Men doesn't delve far into sci-fi

if anything, it's more fantasy than sci-fi.
It's a good series, the powers of the X-men and villians play an equal part with the story and drama.

I picked up the trilogy for $30 at FYE yesterday. These are the Widescreen versions of all three. May not have some of the extras that some releases have, but considering that the latest one is going for around $20, seems like a good deal and I can trade them away if we don't care for them Grin I'm not one much for all of the extras anyway, we so rarely watch them, especially the "making of" stuff.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
