wubi problems

i have a sony laptop running xp and i want to use wubi to boot linux off it. it has not got an internet connection so it cannot download the ISO alternate file. that file is on my usb drive . can i stop wubi downloading the iso file and make it use theone on my usb drive

From what I understand, wubi shouldn't have anything to do with downloading a ubuntu iso. Downloading ubuntu and burning it to a cd/dvd is a separate issue.

I really don't know what these people are trying to do. They should have done it like Beos did with their " Beos personal edition". All in one iso.
