Not sure if you are referring to WS_FTP LE. No idea if WS_FTP LE is the same as WS_FTPLite. If they are the same (LE - Lite edition), there's one reported vulnerability issue with LE version as per SecurityFocus:

WS_FTP Weak Stored Password Encryption Vulnerability
Versions 4.5, 5.0 and 6.0 are affected.

No solutions yet. Maybe the work-around is do not save the password.
