Wrong Wireless network being connected to...

Toshiba Satellie Laptop M45
Dual Boot XP/Mandriva 10
KDE 3.4
wireless card (internal) Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG
module: ipw2200
IP configuration: DHCP
Encryption Key: "open XXXXXXXXXX"
Operating Mode: Managed

I'm not sure of the source of this problem but it may be my hosts file.

The problem is that the correct wireless network connected to is not stable or not
connected to at all.

If anyone knows about this kind of problem, please let me know.

My domain name is in the format XXXX@192.168.1.1

See if the Networkmanager is in your distro. http://www.gnome.org/projects/NetworkManager/

From memory it has a "only connect to these networks" option.
