Wrong country in wsetlocale

by Stop_Spamming / March 13, 2008 6:35 AM PDT

It seems my crashes lately stem from a clash in different settings of how to interpret languages. I suddenly have tons of log files in my temp folders which all refer to a _wsetlocale which comes up as German:Germany.

The language I set is English:ZA and the keyboard layout is US.

After downloading a language pack for Office 2007 for German for proofing, it seems that somehow this was interpreted as this PC now being German. I have no other explanation. But I don't want any settings in German.

Can anyone help with 2 questions:
1. how can I set everything back to English?
2. How can I check which variable is erroneously set to German?
