It seems you need legal advice and I would suggest you ask your lawyer, or your family's lawyer to have a look at the charges and ticket.

My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: Kentucky
Time: 11: p.m. on a monday night
place: I264 west to I64 west.
I received a ticket for going 80 in a 55 (KRS.189.390), reckless driving (KRS.189.290), and driving without a licensed driver in my passenger seat.(KRS.186.620)
The Wrong charge on this is the driving without a licensed driver in the passenger seat. i have my restricted license, and he charged me with: "driving without a licensed driver with only a permit" (KRS.186.620).
25 mph over is 6 points
reckless driving is 4 points
i can only have 7 points because i am a minor.
my questions are:
1) does this big mistake void the entire ticket?
2) will this mistake help me in court?
3) The officer said he would talk to the judge about traffic school. What is the likelihood of me getting into traffic school.
4)How likely is it that i will lose my license?
5) how much will this most likely cost?
The officers notes on the ticket were:
" ofc. observed subject traveling at 80 mph in a 55 mph zone (Calibrated radar) weaving in and out of traffic causing a hazard to other vehicles. Subject had only a permit with no licensed operator in the vehicle."
and he also let me drive home by myself, even though according to him I "Only have my permit".
