Write Protection in a Pen drive

How to Remove the write protection from a pen drive.I have tried fixing it using Command prompt-diskpart method and also i have tried fixing it through registry editor but there is no positive result.So please provide a fruitful solution to this problem. Thank You....

The question has been done many times. Too often it's a failing drive. Get your files safe then try that HP USB MEMORY STICK FORMATTER. There are a lot of folk that won't give on a failed stick. You know to let them have some time and space.

To remove write protection first go to the Start Menu>> Run, then type regedit and press Enter, it will open the registry editor. Then navigate to the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

Then double click on the right protect key and set the value 0 to the value data position and press OK. Then exit form the registry editor. Then restart your computer and reconnect your pen drive to your computer.
