But to share what I'm doing with such is to consult (that is talk) with the owner and see if they can move off RAID. Many owners are ill equipped for RAID failures. That is, they are not ready for these failures. Once we determine their needs we can backup the system, install new drive or drives and restore the data.
Sometimes you encounter folk that have no backup. Ouch!

Hi. Recently I startet having issues with my (hardware) RAID 0 HDD. It will not permit writing to it. This is a big issue as I have my Users folder and all my games on these two drives. Now, the reason I keep my Users folder on this RAID array is because my primary drive is a rather small SSD.
Every time I run chkdsk it says that there's nothing wrong with the drive. And every time I reboot from said check, it runs fine again. That is, until the next time I reboot.
Windows gives me an error if I try to create any file on the drives:
"New File
An unexpected error is keeping you from creating the file. If you continue to recieve this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.
Error 0x80071AC3: The operation could not be completed because the volume is dirty. Please run chkdsk and try again."
This is my system off the top of my head:
OS: Win7 Ultimate x64 SP1
Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D LE
CPU: Intel Core i3 530
GPU: GeForce GTX 550 Ti
HDD: Kingston V100+ 64GB SSD, two 250GB HDD and one 500 GB HDD.
Could there be another reason than harddrive failure?
Also please inform me if there is information missing.
Thank you for any replies.
