WoW Universal - Veronica will be happy

Feb 8, 2006 3:04AM PST

Blizz' just released a Universal Binary version of WoW for Mac users, meaning it will play natively on the new Intel-based macs. Weren't you going to get a McBook, V?

My buddy plays WoW on his 1 year old 12 inch Powerbook just fine. I'm sure it'll be even creamier on the McBooks.

Leo Laporte mentioned on TWiT (I think) that Adobe is not even going to release a version of their suite for the MacIntels until 2007 (I believe).

Fortunately, I don't use Adobe...OOOH WAIT, I do, since I use Macromedia. (If they mess that up...I'll scream)

Even Kevin Rose says he won't switch to the McBook (yet).

... McBooks .. Sounds like a Mickey D's computer ...

Would you like fries with that? Happy

awesome!

I'm not planning on making the switch to a MacBook yet (my G5 is still in pretty good condition!) but eventually I'll probably get one.

But WoW universal?? SWEET! I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm definitely happy about it. Thanks for the heads up.
