Hmmm ...

Seems like pretty valid points to me, but then, I don't play WoW. I've never understood paying a monthly fee just to play a game.

Valid points

Some valid points. He mostly complains about the fact that you can't get the big bad toys on a solo run that people get when going into a dungeon (which requires a big group). That can be annoying.

But I've discovered that playing on your own is nowhere near as fun as group play where you have a very important role. It's all kind of hollow if you only every play by yourself and have all of this crazy powerful weaponry and armor and nobody to play with. The substance for me is getting good enough to be an asset in a group that will RELY upon my talents. But I do understand the frustration of a person who would rather get the goods just soloing.

The real challenge of this game is having enough self-control to limit your playing time in it. The moment I discover I'm shelving more important things in life to play it, I'm quitting again. But for now, I'm having fun and seem to have learned my lesson from the first time I played it to death.

yeah

I generally have a lot more fun when I'm in a party or raid than when i'm soloing. Soloing is kind of... depressing. Sometimes.

As for self control, I've been much better lately. I hit 39, so now I've just been playing a lot of WSG and such. Although, it is tempting to get to 40 so i can wear armor and get my mount!!!
