The problem in the Volpe case was that the kids were being used as conduits -- the money clearly wasn't theirs. But there really are kids around that age interested (and active) in politics -- my then best friend and I actively campaigned for Nixon (shudder!) in the '60 campaign, at age 12. (He's still conservative -- I'm obviously not!) But there are lots worse things a kid could be spending time (and their money) on at that age!

Not that there's anything new or different here.
anybody know what our law is? age and dollar amount for individuals not groups; like boys scouts, etc.
