Would you prefer a Mini PC or just a regular desktop ?

I just wanted to know everyone opinion on Mini PCs! What do you think of the features? Do you like the fact its tiny and it's portable ? I didn't know anything about this product until about 3 weeks ago  Shocked Plain . Do you believe theirs a lack of advertising on Mini PCs ?

I do own an Intel NUC which is working great as an media PC. But I could look at those PCs on a stick if I knew the video performance was good enough. Figure not long till all of them can play 1080p from a network drive.

But the other use of a desktop today is the gamer systems. For that if you build your own I like https://www.reddit.com/r/PCMasterRace/wiki/builds

What do I use 99% of the time? Laptop.

I prefer a desktop.
I don't need it to be portable.
I have the space.
I can config the innards just about any way I want.

What sort of things do you want to run?
