Would this be possible?

I'm thinking off buying a new laptop and adding it to my wireless network. My question is: Is it possible to use software that is installed on the other laptop, or maybe even a network share, on the new laptop? I'm thinking the answer is NO but I don't have much experience in this area so I figured I'd ask.

You don't need anything else, to add

a laptop to a wireless network, unless your laptop doesn't have a wireless card, (then you need oneor any computer or devices to a network.)

you can even add many more computer and wireless devices, to any network.
