Question

Would I Lag With Ethernet Cord?

by bilal9222 / February 5, 2016 10:28 AM PST

I play Xbox live through a wireless adapter. At my house my sister is always on her iPad and my mom is always on her Mac. So Everytime I Play I just lag like crazy. I was wondering if I plug an Ethernet cord from my Xbox to the router when they are using their electronics if I will still lag?

Answer
Yes. It may be less but lag is constant.

Beware anyone that claims a way to get no lag. Wired is better most of the time.

I have
U-verse high speed internet 18 MB, and no, I don't have any

So which is it? And is that 18 megabit or megabyte? My Uverse was the 27 megabit plan.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
