AVG Free has found this worm.

How dangerous is this?

It was found in a program called,

Firefox Setup

It did NOT find this on March 9, 2007 or before this date.

Found it on March 10, 2007.

It was the install program. I put it on a disk a while back and forgot to update it. I don't feel it's a threat, since it's a Mozilla Firefox file, unless it somehow got infected.

Just asking,

I tried to look it up in Grisoft's Virus definitions and also at Symantec's website. Could NOT find it.

I did an online scan at Kasperly and came up clean, therefore, I'm going to say it was a false positive. I ran C W Shredder, Spybot S & D, Adaware SE and have come up clean also.

If you read thro' the various threads again you will see that it was a vdb update, probably on the 9th of March, which created the false positive issue. Your conclusion is correct.

I figured it was a false positive. I had the exe file there for some time. I was taking care of a website and I downloaded Mozilla Firefox for the person. Just forgot to remove it.

Thanks again,

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
