World Series Teams predicted on BOL!

I believe it was Molly who predicted that the Tigers and Cardinals would be in the World Series, although there may have been a bit of sarcasm to her prediction.

Could have sworn she said A's and Tigers

But I could be wrong too.

Stupid Astros not making the playoffs. Sorry, I'm just a bitter Houston Fan.

She said A's/Tigers. Tom was, I believe, "hoping" for a Cards/Tigers series.

If, for no other reason, because I'm a Cubs fan and get a large amount of satisfaction in watching the Cards lose.

Because I am also a cubs fan and if a team that lost 119 games in 2003 wins the WS, the Cubs can win too!

Your not going back far enough.
by terp49001 / October 21, 2006 8:03 AM PDT

Back when the regular season ended, and the Tigers and Cardinals both backed into the playoffs, Tom was predicting the games and Molly very sarcastically added Tigers-Cards World Series. That was not her official prediction. No one belived at the time that either team would make it past the first round!

I love Detroit (although I'm a suburbanite, I still love the city). I'm so tired of people ripping on Detroit with riot comments, burning trash cans, carjacking.

One thing is matter what you think of Detroit, this is one of the greatest sports cities in the country.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
