Working with networking with new desktop and old laptop

Comp specs: Dell Inspiron 2200
915GML Express Chipset family
Dell Wireless 1470 Dual-Band WLAN Mini PCI card
Running windows home 5.1.2600 SP2
1.596 Ghz Pentium M

Having difficulties sdetting up wireless connection using Wireless Zero Config tool. I think Dell wireless utility is getting in the way, but Im not sure. Wireless config is working fine on main pc.

Ultimately trying to get all computers on network to same workgroup for print sharing without a print server. Any help would be appreciated.

What router model?
Have you updated your router firmware from a wired conntection yet?

Router is set to broadcast in wireless-a, b, or g ?
SSID broadcast on?
Disabled WEP, WPA and MAC filtering to start?

Wireless network adapters set for a, b, or g ?
