Probably on the PC.
Via local network between Windows 7 and OS 10.6, I can see, open and edit files on my Mac while working on my PC. But when I try to save, the PC first says, "Access denied. Contact your administrator." Then it says "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission."
Under 'file sharing' in the system preferences, I have checked 'read and write' for myself, 'unknown user' (whatever that is), and 'everyone.'
I popped Dragon speech recognition onto the PC because the web said the Mac version scrambled things when it's mixed with keyboard commands. Mac is main machine. Stumped. Clues?
Thanks--~Philip
