Work offline

I came in and hit the connect button to start my internet, and it always goes to my Juno home page. This morning I hit the button and a box came up that said it could not work off line!! There was a button that said connect and I hit it and it brought me to MSN.com. Why did it say work offline? How do I get rid of that box?

First create a System Restore point or other reliable backup in case a mistake is made.

Look in the registry (START > RUN > REGEDIT > OK)

Using regedit, in the left payne find the folder:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WebCheck

And check in the left payne that these two *String* keys are set to auto:

"LoadSens"="auto"
"LoadLCE"="auto"

Create them if necessary! In the Right pane right click and select DWORD value > type the name > LoadSens and click OK. Then right click on LoadSens and select Modify. In the Value data window type the word auto. Then left click OK.

Follow the same procedure to create "LoadLCE"="auto"
