Work-a-round for MP3 player not supported by audible.com?

audible.com doesn't list my Sansa e280 in its list of supported MP3 players. Is there a work-a-round so that I can download audible files to the Sansa e280? If not, does anyone know of other websites that sell books in MP3 format that I can downloan on my Sansa? Thanks.

Put said content on CDR then rip to MP3 and onto your player.

This is a well worn path from iTunes as well as noted many times by many people because... it works.
