Question

WordPress & Joomla Installation with Filezilla

Oct 4, 2015 8:34PM PDT

Hi guys! I used a free hosting to build a website through wordpress/joomla first. I have passed the steps of downloading these softwares and uploading unzip files of wordpress/joomla via Filezilla. After that, I have created a database. But I can't find my website as it is already installed on server but the wordpress/joomla have not finished installing yet. In order to install wordpress/joomla, I have to use the domain that I have registered. But I can't calll the domain I have registered yet. There's no directory name I created. So, I call www.yoursite.com to install wordpress/joomla but it doesn't appear anything at all. In filezilla, there's only "\" signature appear on remote site. What should I do next? Should you guys help me in any way, I will grateful to that.

all the free places have different methods to use with their sites instead of the normal processes used when one has their own domain and hosting. Check with them.
