- How's the print preview in Word? Colored correctly or wrong also?
- How about other programs (like Wordpad and Notepad). Do they type only in red too?

That Office Student version, has it expired? I know 'trial' versions of Office expire, but don't know about Student versions.

What about that Print Preview? Does that show in red font or normal black?

Does this Office have a "Detect and Repair" option in it's Help menu? If so you could try that, but you will probably need the Office CD you installed it from.

If that fails, an uninstall of Office, reboot of the computer, then a reinstall of office seems the only alternative.
