Question

WORD, lack of control

Sep 7, 2018 9:26AM PDT

Hi guys-- I'm building a WordPress gallery site for my wife. For the text pages (i.e. her credits) I copied and pasted into their editing the text I had typed in WORD. I discovered the headings and text wandered and were exceedingly difficult to control. Do you know of another program, other than Word, that will copy and paste with more accuracy? Thanks for help.

You copied from Word, I assume. But you pasted into something else, I think. Into what?

My guess: the copy is fine, but the copied contents is not what the target expects. Try pasting into Notepad, then copy from Notepad and paste into the target. That's just plain text. Can't miss, although maybe it doesn't look yet as you want. Then edit the layout.
