Word - How do I print out the page footer with the doc

I have a Word 97 document with a page footer that shows up correctly in an XP envirenment
but that does not print out the footer.How do I print out the page footer with
the document?

Here's why. Office 97 as well as Word 97 is not supported on Windows XP and no patches are planned.

But let's try this: If the header or footer is missing or only partially printed.

You may have placed the text in the nonprinting area of the page. Check your printer manual to see how close to the edge of the paper your printer can print.

On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Layout tab. Next to From edge, enter a value that's larger than your printer's minimum margin setting.
