Word Find Replace Using Wild Cards

I have recceived a text file from what i can only assume is an extraction from an old software that does not exist anymore. scattered throughout the test is something like the following <@156>. The number sequence is different every time (@134, @125,etc) and i think it is never more than four digits. I would like to be able to find the "<@" and any number of characters after it and then the ">" and replace it with "". I cannot use wild cards because "<" is a wild card.

If this is possible or there is a better solution, it would be much appreciated
