They display in the post as “ and ”
Strangely, when I use ALT and the number pad for 8220 and 8221 I get this code, ∟ and this ↔ respectively, so it is difficult for me to check what characters they are.
How did you include those? If from the ALT number pad combination, try the Character map in Start > All Programs > Accessories > System.
I am formatting a large bibliography, 50 pages. (I know I should use Endnote, but they won't buy it for me.)
Our selected format for a list of authors is
"A. Apple, B. Smith, and K. Carpenter"
I already figured out how to have Word check for instances of no comma before the “and” I use: “[!,] and”
Now I realized I have to find instances of
lists of authors that have commas but no “and”
“A. Apple, B. Smith, K. Carpenter”
And also no “,” and no “and”
“A. Apple, B. Smith K. Carpenter”
How can I do those?
