Word 2007 Changing Font type & size over multiple paragraphs

Is there a way to automatically change the font type and size over multiple paragraphs?

With a long document, it would be very time consuming manually changing the first line of every paragraph, whether or not the paragraph has a space between the first and next line.

Here are two examples. The first lists a paragraph with a one line space, the second has two line spaces (such as if I had a few paragraphs to avoid the text being lost within lots of lines). All lines below the first are Calibri, size 11.

I wish to change Calibri, size 12 (first line) to Cambria, size 12 (as an example), just for the first line.

I've tried "Find and Replace" with blank text and "More" with the two font types and sizes, but nothing has changed.

I have Word 2007 with Windows Vista as my operating system.

This looks like a job for ...

"WORDPIPE"

There are apps, tools and more to do such things.

Re: Word 2007 Changing Font type & size over multiple paragr

Wordpipe sounds very useful.

However, as it's a cost based item, which I'll afford if I can after a free trial, is there a free alternative program that can change displays over multiple paragraphs?

Yes, but the cost differs.

For example we can always write a macro or VBA code to do this then the cost is our time and the benefit is we learn something. It seems there is a cost whichever way we go.
