I wonder if anyone can help me with this.
I am using Word 2003 SP2, and i have some documents (originally created in word 2000) that have been saved as templates.
When you open these templates there are a number of pages with use bullets and numbering for sections (1, 2, 3 etc and then subsections are a, b c etc
after filling in all the options i may make some changes to the document, then save the document.
after reopening I clicks tools > protect document and under editing restrictions click allow only this type of editing on this document > no changes (read only)
I then close the dialogue box, then closes the document which prompts to save, I save.
when opening up the document again all the bullet points have gone (Huh)
i tried many things, many options but a work around seems to to choose the "filling in forms section" from the allow only this type of editing on this document" option
has anyone come across this before?
