Word 2003 adds {TEXT FORMAT} and {HYPERLINK} to documents

Aug 10, 2006 1:09AM PDT

Ever since I've been downloading Word application forms from various places, Word 2003 has been putting {TEXT FORMAT} around formatted text, {HYPERLINK} around hyperlinks and {PAGE} instead of the actual page numbers. The text formatting and hyperlinks show as normal in Read View but still no page numbers and in all other views it's as above, with the { }. Tables of Contents have changed to only show this code {TOC \O ''1-5'' \H \Z \U} in Normal and Print View and no page numbers in Read View. I've also lcompletely lost formatting such as shading and borders for an inexplicable reason. Is this something to do with RTF formatting, and how do I get it back to normal without these tags and ToC looking as it should?

* Tools

The Alt+F9 totally worked like magic. Very quick and easy, dang that was bugging the heck out of me - on every word document that I opened for the last few days! Thank you!
